Transverse free-blown flute consisting of a large vegetable cane cut off above a preserved node, and at the opposite extremity below a node whose occlusion has been removed. Near the upper node a large circular opening is cut, functioning as the embouchure. A second opening of smaller diameter is pierced near the other extremity.

The Museo Arte e Scienza figure displays all the diagnostic criteria of the Mbédé/Ambete style: barrel-shaped/cylindrical body; head carved in the round; sagittal-crest coiffure with stepped horizontal grooves; prominent forehead over a hollow face; rectangular mouth with visible teeth; arms fixed to the body and bent in an L; short, semi-flexed legs. The Mbédé attribution is confirmed with a high degree of certainty by photographic analysis
The iconography of the Nuragic bronze figurines of the Uta-Abini style (Lilliu 1966 classification — see Technical Note 1) is the direct figurative model of the Mont'e Prama sculptures, reproduced on a monumental scale with the same subjects (warriors, archers, athletes) and the same repertoire of attributes.
